Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-01
1) Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using SpeakCraft Academy (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and our policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
2) Eligibility & Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Do not share accounts or access credentials.
- Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
3) Courses, Coaching & Outcomes
Courses and coaching are educational and informational. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, job offers, speech performance, or measurable improvements. Your results depend on many factors, including effort, background, and practice.
4) Subscriptions, Billing & Renewals
If you purchase a subscription, you authorize recurring charges according to the plan terms displayed at checkout. Taxes may apply. Subscription access may change with plan updates, and we will provide commercially reasonable notice of material changes where required.
You can manage renewals via your account settings or the instructions provided at purchase. Failure to cancel before renewal may result in the next billing cycle being charged.
5) Refund Policy
Refunds may be eligible within 14 days of purchase if less than 20% of self-paced content has been completed. For live cohorts, refunds follow the session policy presented at enrollment and may depend on timing and attendance.
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method, subject to processing times of the payment provider and bank.
6) Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines
You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone else do so. The following are examples of prohibited behavior:
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory content.
- Sharing private or confidential information without consent.
- Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service.
- Uploading malware, spam, or any content that violates laws or third-party rights.
- Recording or redistributing live sessions without explicit permission.
We may remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe these guidelines have been violated.
7) Intellectual Property & License
Course materials, videos, worksheets, templates, and branding are owned by or licensed to SpeakCraft Academy. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.
- No resale, redistribution, sublicensing, or public performance of materials.
- No copying or creating derivative works beyond personal study unless authorized.
- We may use feedback you provide to improve the Service without obligation.
8) Third-Party Services
Some features may integrate third-party services (e.g., video conferencing, payment processing). Their terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
9) Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpeakCraft Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
11) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or applicable laws, or if required to protect the Service, other users, or third parties.
12) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes.
13) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by a law framework selected to be fair and internationally neutral where possible, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction, those protections remain in effect.
14) Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact support: [email protected] or phone +1 (415) 709-2846.
